The Aurora Central Catholic Football Lineman Club is in need of volunteers this Saturday to close Bob Stewart Field for the winter season.
The morning will consist of taking down the goal posts, bringing all benches and tables into the barn, removing all the track and long jump pits, aerating the field and over-seeding the damaged spots of the field, and taking down all the flags and banners from around the stadium.
The field cleanup will begin at 9:00 a.m. and all volunteers should meet at the barn. Students who help in the event will receive service hours for their effort. Anyone who can help would be greatly appreciated.
