For the third year in a row, the Aurora Central Catholic football program is seeing great success on the lower levels. Currently, the Charger Sophomores are 5-2 on the season, and find themselves still in the hunt for a Suburban Christian Conference title. The Freshman check in with a 2-3 record, and are undefeated in the Suburban Christian – Gold Division.
Participation in the program is at an all-time high, with a total of 54 members on the lower levels. That number has helped both the Freshman and Sophomore levels success, but more importantly the continued development from future Varsity success.
You still have one more chance to catch the ACC Football Freshman and Sophomores in action at Bob Stewart Field. Friday, the Sophomores host Wheaton Academy kicking off at 5:30 p.m. On Monday, the Freshman take on “Down-the-Block” rival Aurora Christian, kickoff scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
