The 2011 edition of the Aurora Central Catholic Charger Football Program will be unveiled this evening in the 3rd Annual “Blue/Gold” Night at ACC. The evening will feature inter-squad games for Volleyball and Soccer as a prelude to the Football event, set for 6:00 p.m.
The ACC Varsity will take the field first, and showcase their Special Teams as well as a short Offensive and Defensive period. Following the halftime festivities, the Freshman/Sophomores will hold a 20-minute inter-squad scrimmage.
“Tonight is a nice night for the parents, alumni, and fans,” ACC Head Coach Brian Casey said. “As coaches, we want to make sure we have guys getting on and off the field when they are supposed to, and make sure we can execute different things on the fly with little time to think, basically a dress rehearsal for next Friday.”
The whole event will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the Volleyball and Soccer programs games being held in the Gymnasium and Stadium respectivley. ACC Fall Sport introductions will take place beginning at 6:00, with the Football portion immediately following.
