The Aurora Central Catholic Football Lineman’s Club will kickoff the 2011 season next week as it begins its third year of assisting the Charger Football program at Aurora Central Catholic High School.
On Tuesday (8/9), the Lineman Club will meet at the Stadium Barn at 5:30p.m. to paint the practice fields in preparation for the Chargers starting fall practice on Wednesday morning. The practice field painting will be on-going with the 2nd Annual ACC Football Pre-Season Family Cookout, so food and drink will be available to all volunteers.
Next Monday (8/15) and Tuesday (8/16) will begin the work at Bob Stewart Field. On Monday, the Club will meet at 5:30p.m. to prepare the stadium for the fall. Goalposts, sideline covers, and a few more odds and ends will be completed. On Tuesday, again at 5:30p.m., the Club will paint the game field for the first time this season, in preparations for the Blue/Gold game on Friday evening.
The ACC Football Lineman Club is a volunteer group, open to any member of the ACC school community. The football program would like to invite anyone who is interested in supporting ACC Football to join the Lineman Club, and assist in the preparations.
